We were browsing the busy street of Wellington for a restaurant and we passed by a few where the menu looked okay. When we passed by Auguste, they seemed packed and busy during their 5-7. However the server still greeted us and informed us that there’s a “quickie” 5-7 menu that’s cheaper but we just have to finish eating before 7. We were delighted to hear about this cheaper options so we stayed. The food did not disappoint.

The food was amazing, and the service was very good. My 1st but the last time. It is totally worth the price... Now I just need to come back in Sherbrooke!

Very, very, very good Risotto. We went with a large group, service was mostly good, but we were still there by closing so they were naturally less enthusiastic after that. Brought us some extra treats while we waited for the main course. Quite expensive, but the food was that good. Most folks got steaks and thought it was excellent. Some decent veggie (but not vegan) options.

Good quality food, tasty and inventive. definetly worth to try it!! Service is amazing and prices are on the high side but worth itMost of the items that look vegetarian on the menu use chicken broth. The server did not know this so it took half an hour to place the order as she went back and forth between us and the kitchen. I got the chocolate torta for dessert, which was essentially a stale spiced chocolate bread. Something I would never get again,

This is a hip and happening place in Sherbrooke. Great vibes and delicious food. We had the tasting menu (Menu de degustation) which was amazing. The portions are larger than I would have expected. So if you have a good appetite, you won’t leave hungry The service was great and attentive. We had a fairly large party, but the food service was very reasonable. Some of the folks in our party did not speak French, but the waitress was more than willing to help with her limited English... more than what we could have asked for. Altogether, we had a great experience at Auguste and we would definitely recommend it.
